Many communities in Guinea are poorly served in health facilities and often face significant barriers to accessing the health care they need, from long travel times to reach facilities and providers, to delayed diagnosis and treatment.

The USAID Guinea Notre Santé (Our Health) Activity in collaboration with the Ministry of Health organizes mobile clinic outings in remote or hard to reach areas to bring healthcare services closer to the most -underserved populations. Mobile clinics provide a wide range of services in the areas of maternal and child health and infectious diseases and targeting adults and children, with vaccinations, consultations, and referrals for additional treatments in appropriate health structures.

In order to ensure and maintain quality service standards, the health providers who work in these mobile clinics receive practical training and regular supervision from Notre Santé in collaboration with the health district.

This outreach effort is being held regularly in health districts supported by the Notre Santé project in the regions of Conakry, Boké, Kindia, and Labé, reaching many vulnerable people.

The USAID Guinea Notre Santé (Our Health) Activity is a five-year, $73 million activity helping to expand access to affordable, quality health services for vulnerable Guineans.
