On April 25, USAID handed over a liquid oxygen  system to Cai Nuoc District General Hospital in Ca Mau Province in Vietnam's Mekong Delta. The hospital is one of 10 to receive a USAID-funded system in the coming year. USAID also trained 28 individuals, including hospital administrators, clinicians, and technicians, on the system’s safe usage and maintenance.

USAID has installed liquid oxygen systems to store and deliver oxygen at patient bedsides in hospitals across the country. By the end of 2024, USAID will have provided liquid oxygen systems to 23 health facilities in 11 provinces, strengthening Vietnam’s health care system.
